Jack Ma said he learned from MSC (multimedia super corridor) created by Dr. Mahathir the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Japanese said they developed after Portuguese arrived their country. Why we need to go to Finland to learn about education systems, technology and attitude if Jack ma and Japanese recognised that Portuguese come to Malacca first before Japan and We already have MSC.

The first three Europeans to arrive in Japan in 1543 werePortuguese traders António Mota, Francisco Zeimoto and António Peixoto (also presumably Fernão Mendes Pinto). They arrived at the southern tip of Tanegashima, where they would introduce firearms to the local population.

The Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) program was officially inaugurated by the fourth Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad on 12 February 1996. The establishment of the MSC program was crucial to accelerate the objectives of Vision 2020 and to transform Malaysia into a modern state by 2020, with the adoption of a knowledge-based society framework

We cannot stop talking about the environmental issues and nature if we accept the ideas of sustainability until all are concern and practice sustainability. We need more experts and activists. Start with youth who are active and energetic. All these are for their future!!!

it is too much if 25 tapir died in one year hit by vehicles. If only 1000 tapir in Malaysia we cannot see tapir anymore soon. Tapir with scientific name Tapirus indicus is unique in Malaysia. The bigest tapisr species in Malaysia and the highest number reported is in Peninsular Malaysia. We need to conserve them NOW. Perhilitan as the authority to take care of wildlife in Peninsular Malaysia must do something. Not just informing rules and regulations and number of tapir. We must improve current laws and regulation, educating public and updating information on wildlife including tapir. In case of road kills, all authorities such as Jabatan Kerja Raya, Lembaga Lebuh Raya Malaysia, Jabatan Perhutanan, Majlis Daerah and Perhilitan must have monthly meeting to improve situation and avoiding road accident. Please do not forget non Government Organisation such as Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) to involve in the action plans. We cannot wait until no more tapir.

According to Perhilitan director-general Datuk Abdul Kadir Abu Hashim, a total of 25 tapirs died last year after being hit by vehicles.

‘The tapir is a nocturnal animal. It was probably moving after mating or it was looking for food,” he told the Star Online when contacted.

“We can only hope that drivers are careful and alert where there are signboards and along places where there are forests,” he added.

He said there was an estimated population of over 1,000 tapirs in the country.

Abdul Kadir said that the population of the iconic Malaysian animal has dropped due to several factors, including the loss of their forest habitat.

The tapir is a fully protected species under the Wildlife Act 2010 (Act 716).

Based on Perhilitan's statistics, a total of 2,444 wildlife have been roadkill victims from 2012 to 2017.

Over the period, monitor lizards recorded the highest number of roadkills at 764, followed by civet cats (446), monkeys (439), wild boars (265), snakes (147) and wild cats (88).

Threatened wildlife species that have been victims of roadkill are tapirs (69), sun bears (6), elephants (4), mountain goats (2), panthers (2) and tiger (1).
