Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) moving forward promoting bird conservation by training more members on bird watching, identification, techniques and photography.

Six years a go this three kids helping me in my field work. I think in Johor. Hopefully they will be good field biologist in the future.

Another contribution in protecting and conservation of wetlands, All are involved from palace to ministers officers and from professors to kindergarten kids. MNS to day celebrating World Wetlands day with Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin.

It is common in seminars or conference we have dinner and cultural performance. What is the secret about conference dinners? The performers are sometime scientists or students. We need versatile scientists not just working in the laboratory.

Another creativity in food. How far its safe, tasty and natural? What is food science and technology? cooking, utensil, ingredient? or nutrient, healthy and safety?

Green not just using natural plants for daily uses. But need to plan for nature or natural resources sustainability.

Many said to me we need celebrities to support nature promotion programmes. In MNS we involved few celebrities too.

MNS just launched Ulu Muda Expedition. We need to have a complete data on the whole ecosystem in order to support the conservation of the area towards State Park.. Ulu Muda Forest Complex is very important for future water in the northern area of Malay Peninsular.

we need more contribution and support from the universities in order Malaysian Nature society (MNS) to move forward effectively in nature protection and conservation. All universities need to identify the protected areas near the university and do research on ecosystem, flora, fauna and socio-economy about the specific areas for long term. in fact continuously for next generation.

long years of collaboration for better environment and health through education and research

we need more aggressive education and research to fight against wildlife poaching and smuggling besic=de laws and enforcement. Public knowledge and awareness will support conservation and protection of wildlife.

I am not too sure how many Malaysia are concern about this imported rubbish especially the plastic. Malaysian are not that poor hunger for money and polluted our own living comfort areas. We need clean air to breath and safe water to drink.

Experts need to give ideas or input at the right time when the whole world are talking about it and focus on the issues. Environment, safety, security and lifestyle are belong to everybody and all have similar right to komen. Probably your comments will help some one. With new media every one ideas can reach the target easily and quickly.. Malaysian Urban Forum (MUF) 2019 is good platform to talk about our future habitat.

Image and presentation of out infrastructures are important to attract quality people to work with us. How we are competing to be world class institution?

Dry weather in the north encourage mount climbers go to Gunung Baling which is one of beautiful scenery to see. But during dry season the area is easy to catch fire. I hope the smokers should be discipline enough to control their fire. Because of one second careless action, we lost beautiful scenery and rich biodiversity. May be this people should be punished heavily because they killed many lives. Malaysia is top mega biodiversity in the world. We need to encourage more research. in case of Gunung Baling the authorities should offer research grant to assess the biodiversity of Gunung Baling after fire. Lets the experts doing research.

We better talk based on scientific studies, some time through your experience is not enough if not writing and share with your peers. Many have similar interest eg mangrove ecosystem, many developed interest after understand about mangrove and sympathy to the mangrove ecosystems start sharing story, concern and talking each other. Very good if they refer to the true experts who doing research and not just reading the story. We encourage more research and story writing about mangroves issues. Media can play important roles in meeting the experts together, gather the information and educating the public.

From highlands to open seas we never stop from talking about the environmental issues. Malaysian Nature society (MNS) too never stop talking about nature protection and conservation. The oldest nature based society MNS since 1940) should be referred by the authorities anything related to the environmental issues and nature. Highland should not be touched and mangrove on the coastal areas too should be kept. They play roles in our safety and health.

Aedes mosquitoes increasing or dengue cases increasing? Who is going to answer? Journalists? Public who read newspaper? Public who visit their relatives infected by dengue virus? Doctors? Scientists? Public Relation Officers on the Ministry of Health? Surely they have the answer but are the answers can solve the problems? Are we going to ask people in rural areas to spend 10 minutes destroy mosquitoes breeding area? all must take the initiatives headed by the local authorities.Education and publicity are important than punishing people. Why not we have mosquitoes search and destroy every sunday at 9-10 a.m.

In multiracial and multi religious and multi culture it is very tough challenge to live in harmony. we must understand all cultures, respect and tolerant. If we see someone try to create non harmonious situation, we together must do something. Understand each other and respect is very important BUT dont take advantages..

How Manchester United always popular and at the top of EPL. May be the manager is good or the players are good or the supporters.Whatever it is we need to study their plan and strategies.

We can see many involve in tree planting. we must monitor what we plant and make sure it grow as we wanted. Planting trees in schools compound or university is better because it can be well monitored.

When MAAC meet the minister everything is ok. we are happy going back very optimis. But how far it work depending on our leaders in the organisation. We need brave, proactive and visionary leaders not microscopic, robotic and schematic leaders.

Who read this newspaper, who cares, who take actions? We need to have more aggressive public education and awareness programmes on nature protection and conservation.

In new media we suppose to be more creative in presenting ideas to public. Students instead of writing long essays may be they should come out with simple posters that can explained everything easier to understand. In this case why and hoe trees are important in climate change,, pollution and temperature control .

Many are talking about long tailed macaques in Malaysia. Not just local media but international media. Why many are interested not just for the story good or bad, conservation, killing, but also in research. We have many researchers from America, Japan and Europe are interested in long tailed macaques. How about the locals?
