Malaysia too celebrating World Cup. Many young who like footballs are making preparation. They play footballs with style, expensive and satisfaction. BUT why Malaysia still behind in football. If the young like to sacrifice a lot for football why we cannot take advantage on them to produce a good team for the country?

The FIFA World Cup, often simply the World Cup, is an international association football competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the sport's global governing body. The championship has been awarded every four years since the inaugural tournament in 1930, except in 1942 and 1946 when it was not held because of the Second World War. The current champions are Spain, who won the 2010 tournament in South Africa.
The current format of the tournament involves 32 teams competing for the title at venues within the host nation(s) over a period of about a month; this phase is often called the World Cup Finals. A qualification phase, which currently takes place over the preceding three years, is used to determine which teams qualify for the tournament together with the host nation(s).
The 19 World Cup tournaments have been won by eight different national teams. Brazil have won five times, and they are the only team to have played in every tournament. The other World Cup winners are Italy, with four titles; West Germany, with three titles; Argentina and inaugural winners Uruguay, with two titles each; and England, France, and Spain, with one title each.
The World Cup is among the world's most widely viewed sporting events; an estimated 715.1 million people watched the final match of the 2006 FIFA World Cup held in Germany.
The next three World Cups will be hosted by Brazil in 2014, Russia in 2018, and Qatar in 2022.

Is there any evidence to indicate the existence of association between high research output and the effectiveness of undergraduate teaching? We need to do research in this area. In this university research is important BUT in what extend? Human resource produvct is more important. BUT how?

How to produce high quality graduates from research university?
1. quality of lecturers
2. quality of students
3. quality of curriculum
4. quality of facilities (including management & leadership quality)
5. quality of academic culture in the university (whole campus society understand the campus culture and objectives of the university and together move forward, avoid competition in implementing individual ideas)

Lucky living in Malaysia: Business controlled life, publicity and power. Celebrating festival is among business strategies. Keep harmony and peace.

Christmas (Old English: Crīstesmæsse, meaning "Christ's Mass") is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ and a widely observed cultural holiday, celebrated in Western Christianity on December 25 by millions of people around the world. A feast central to the Christian liturgical year, it closes the Advent season and initiates the twelve days of Christmastide, which ends after the twelfth night. Christmas is a civil holiday in many of the world's nations, is celebrated by an increasing number of non-Christians, and is an integral part of the Christmas and holiday season.
Christianity in Malaysia is a minority religion practised by 9.2% of the population (2010 census), most living in East Malaysia. The major Christian denominations in Malaysia include the Anglicans, Baptists, Brethren, non-denominational churches, independent Charismatic churches, Lutherans, Methodists, Presbyterian and Roman Catholics.

All muslim are proud of Mecca but how many interested to develop the system to make every muslim have the opportunity to visit mecca and peform haj and umrah. After 1000 years what are the improvements in term of systems and facilities compared to other holiday destinations. It should be the best in the world and follows by others.

Mecca (/ˈmɛkə/; Arabic: مكة‎, Makkah, pronounced [ˈmækkæ]), also transliterated as Makkah, is a city in the Hejaz and the capital of Makkah Province in Saudi Arabia. The city is located 70 km (43 mi) inland from Jeddah in a narrow valley at a height of 277 m (909 ft) above sea level. Its resident population in 2012 was roughly 2 million, although visitors more than triple this number every year during Hajj period held in the twelfth Muslim lunar month of Dhu al-Hijjah.

As the birthplace of Muhammad and a site of Muhammad's first revelation of the Quran (the site in specificity being a cave 3.2 km (2 mi) from Mecca), Mecca is regarded as the holiest city in the religion of Islam and a pilgrimage to it known as the Hajj is obligatory for all able Muslims. Mecca is home to the Kaaba, by majority description Islam's holiest site, as well as being the direction of Muslim prayer. Mecca was long ruled by Muhammad's descendants, the sharifs, acting either as independent rulers or as vassals to larger polities. It was absorbed into Saudi Arabia in 1925. In its modern period, Mecca has seen tremendous expansion in size and infrastructure, home to structures such as the Abraj Al Bait, also known as the Makkah Royal Clock Tower Hotel, the world's third tallest building and the building with the largest amount of floor area. Due to this expansion, Mecca has lost some historical structures and archaeological sites, such as the Ajyad Fortress.Today, more than 15 million Muslims visit Mecca annually, including several million during the few days of the Hajj. As a result, Mecca has become one of the most cosmopolitan and diverse cities in the Muslim world, despite the fact that non-Muslims are prohibited from entering the city.

Umrah involves million of people in the world and it is a continuous processes. Why muslim countries including Saudi Arabia still cannot provide the best solution and facilities for the muslims to perform umrah. After thousands of years now may be haj is improving. If we ompare to people going for holiday in London or Los Angeles where is the management of umrah? Because this is the religious matter. It should be the best and not just a business opportunity for the greedy. MALAYSIA SHOULD LEAD????

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umrah
The Umrah or (Arabic: عمرة‎) is a pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, performed by Muslims that can be undertaken at any time of the year. In Arabic, Umrah means "to visit a populated place". In the Sharia, Umrah means to perform Tawaf round the Kaaba and Sa'i between Al-Safa and Al-Marwah, after assuming Ihram (a sacred state), either from a Miqat like Zu 'l-Hulafa, Juhfa, Qarnu 'l-Manāzil, Yalamlam, Zāt-i-'Irq, Ibrahīm Mursīa, or a place in Hill. It is sometimes called the 'minor pilgrimage' or 'lesser pilgrimage', the Hajj being the 'major' pilgrimage and which is compulsory for every able-bodied Muslim who can afford it. The Umrah is not compulsory but highly recommended.

Leptospirosis is not new disease but becoming popular now in Malaysia. We need to understand about the bacteria and how they transmited to human and cause problems. How to prevent fron infection and cure it. all need basic sciences. BUT if the panels keep rejecting simple monitoring and descripting types of research proposal, how we are going to solve the bigger problems. Panels must open their eyes and think out of petridish!

Leptospirosis (also known as Weil's syndrome, canicola fever, canefield fever, nanukayami fever, 7-day fever, Rat Catcher's Yellows, Fort Bragg fever, black jaundice, and Pretibial fever) is caused by infection with bacteria of the genus Leptospira and affects humans as well as other animals.
Leptospirosis is among the world's most common diseases that transmits from animals to people (zoonosis). The infection is commonly transmitted to humans by allowing water that has been contaminated by animal urine to come in contact with unhealed breaks in the skin, the eyes, or with the mucous membranes. Outside of tropical areas, leptospirosis cases have a relatively distinct seasonality—most cases occur in spring and autumn.
Look at big rats inspecting your kitchen, bedrooms, checking all plates, glasses, spoons or may be exposed food at night. How about restaurants? Who want to make sure that all your food, plates and glasses are save from rats urine and feces? Need to have a monitoring kits.

Not that easy to promote the ideas and making people accept it. You may be happy when people accept the ideas and implement it BUT most of the time no body know that it was your ideas. Dont bother about name. Keep working and contributing your ideas and energy. Tree planting in Shah Alam is unique: Dusun dalam Bandar.
