In developed countries NGOs are strong and have many members volunteer in the activities. In independent country should have many NGOs that championing in the environmental issues. NGOs can be a strong voice to protect and conserving nature especially Malaysia as among top megabiodiversity countries.

Straits of Melaka still maintaing as number one busy in the world. Increasing east and west business creating more pressure to the straits ecosystem. More research needed. May be we need a centre for Straits of Melaka Research.

Malaysian Primatological Society (MPS) is another new society fighting for primate protection, management and conservation. MPS affiliated to International Primatological Society (IPS).

Malaysia need to have more scientist on astronomy. Historically Muslims are known among the top scientists in astronomy. Why Malaysian do not continue the excellence of research in tis field.

We have many seminars for nature conservation and sustainability. How far we really practice it and messages are well delivered to the politician, economists, business man and the public. Nature and sustainability is the future sustainable economy.

How many p[people are truly cerebrating World Tiger Day and talking about conservation of tiger. We need all to talk about tiger on tiger day at least to check how far tiger conservation is practice in the country.

Some time we are too comfort forgot about education and reminding people on cleanliness and avoiding transmitted diseases. Public must respect the authorities so that we can control disease from spreading. Scientists must take this as a challenge and do more research related to this disease and human factors.

Because we are still primitive in managing wild dogs and poor in respecting others may be some technology needed how to control wild dogs in civilize society.

We are talking about environment, we are talking about protection and conservation, we are talking about history and tourism, we are talking about patriotism, we like to preserve the history of Sultan and country BUT everyday we are talking about money, development, road, traffic jam, and giving many ideas. Finally we are forgotten on what we are talking about nature, conservation, patriotism and the important in tourism and environmental and history education. We cut the trees, polluted the river and destroy the historic places. One day we do not have anything to talk about except the problems of life. By that time every thing is too late. Now we do not throw cloth in landfill sites or river or sea anymore. We have new initiative and giving a second chance to our unwanted cloth for better environment.

Towards educating public in managing plastic at home and understanding the whole phenomenon of plastic pollution and threat to marine life.

International mangrove conservation day. All people in coastal areas must plant mangrove during this celebration. If not please do it now. and Department of Forestry must assist the locals and NGOs.

Public must understand about plastic pollution and strongly reject Malaysia as dumping ground for plastic. NGO must support to educate public. Politician must be honest in implementing policies.

Towards internationalisation of knowledge and strengthen regional issues on marine sciences. Malaysia is a maritime country and we cannot forget to enhance our research on marine sciences. Especially on the Straits of Melaka, South China Sea and Sulu Sea.

Now the engineers, town planners, sociologist and in fact the politician learn about human body and life systems that we have. What we have in mitochondria also referred, observed and discussed in designing human needs. Biology is important and biology is about life and study about living things. New ERA of biology will come soon (or suppose to be all the time since life is exist) to produce harmonious and balance society. We in Malaysia still not too late to change to biology and thinking biology for better life.

About six years a go I introduced a programme named "recycle to cycle" at UPM Universiti Putra Malaysia) where students can rent a bicycle by exchange with aluminium cans and plastic bottles. This is to promote green campus, free motor vehicles, less carbon emission, practice recycle, active life on campus and towards no plastic on campus. Until now still not successful and struggling to convince the top management and changing the culture of staff and students. It is very tough and need patient and creativity.
