Government should support this group which is more than 20 years involved with the Japanese marine scientists through JICA and JSPS programmes, recruiting many young scientists and networking with many Asean Countries. Many Malaysian scientists are becoming a reference point by many Asean scientists and Japanese Scientits. Why Malaysian Government and universities are not recognise them? They are professors in our own local government universities. May be wrong persons are leading related agencies OR all those professors are below Malaysian standard.
