in term of policy and commitment at the international levels, Malaysia is leading in nature conservation. But we still have problems in forest degradation, wildlife poaching and smuggling activities. We need to work harder to educate the public to support government policies on nature conservation.

Sustainability of forest is depending on all stakeholders especially the local community beside the politician and government officers. Not that easy to educate the politician and the government officers may be because of thier position and less pressure from public. To make them listen we talk on media. Thank you media for supporting our proposal.

It is bad if the voice of scientists, nature lovers and local public is ignored. We need to advice the politician, administrators and business people correctly. All must be educated enough how to manage reserve forest and what benefit we can get from the forest services. Malaysia is high biodiversity country and worrying about climate change.

Plantimg merbau tree at Merbau Avenue Taman Botani Putrajaya. Thank you Taman Botani for the opportunity. We need more people to plant trees and more supporters. We should reduce number of people who destroy forest and cutting trees. In fact degraded forest too can be improved if we know how to do it. Education and research are continuously needed.

I managed to get some one to highlight about World Wetland day on the 2nd February 2020. This time we talked about Timah Tasoh in Perlis IBA MY01. We urge the authorities give special attention for lake to be protected for water, biodiversity and recreation. The area need to have more plants on land and water including improving the buffer zones.

We must talk when we have the opportunity. Not many people have similar opportunity. Media play important roles and the ideas regarding conservation must be repeated from time to time to get support and increase understanding and awareness among public.
