Professors should be able to attract giant corparate sectors and develop their confidence, so that we can get first information on what are their current need, short term/near future or future planning on job requirement. Professors not just monitoring their post graduates (especially foreigners and proud of them) to write the papers for publications BUT the professor must do transfering knowledge to the public. This is called KTP (Knowledge Transfering Programme) or Berilmu dan Berbakti.
