Some people said academician now working for promotion, better position, power, popularity and better salary and to get award from Sultan.For me scientist must work, teaching to develop young intelect, looking for new ideas and findings. Eg. people are talking about biodivesity, conservation, climate change etc BUT so far still no changes, why?. May be the professors not yet found new ideas, strategies and effective actions. Now a days people said to get a promotion and award from Sultan is not genuine anymore. All about politics and hearsay, not base on real contribution or merit. If no body suggest your name, you will be left behind. To get people suggest your name, we must close to top management. need to reduce out your working time and focus to work. Any way we respect Sultan's right to whom he want to give the award. Daulat Tuanku!!!
