26 July is International Day for Mangrove Conservation. As we know mangrove ecosystem is very important in protecting coastal areas from erosion, filtering fresh water into the sea, nursery ground for marine life, carbon stoct and climate change. Picture below was taken in Perlis. It is urgent to replant mangrove along Perlis coastline to protect erosion and improve fisheries activities.
