We cannot wait for 27 April every year to talk about Tapir Conservation. Everyday tapir is under threat. Shrinking of their habitat because of deforestation and poor knowledge on tapir conservation or no interest in wildlife conservation put more pressure on tapir population. Tapir might out of their normal home range and enter human settlement and crossing road. We have many incidents of road kill. Tapir death on the road becoming hot issue and need to be solved immediately. Public awareness important to save tapir.
