If we want to be champion in biodiversity, field biology or wildlife ecology, we must work on
popular subjects in biodiversity,
rare subjects or something that other field scientists not focus on OR doing something
extreme where no body can do it or like to do it or dare to do it or willing to do it. Malaysia have very good opportunity. The problems are not many young extreme field biologist and not many funding agencies to sponsor this kind of projects. So those who like to sacrifice can try. The rewards may be later......
To encourage young generation in field biology, they need to be exposed to more field works. This need more money in teaching and time/energy/knowledge/experience/skills/etc.... among lecturers.
