BUT Why they killed Milky Storks Released in Kuala Gula Bird Sanctuary?
The birds were bred in the Zoo Negara. After big enough they were transferred to Kuala Gula, Perak and after certain period of acclimatisation, they were released to the wild. We do not know how many Milky Storks really in the wild. Some said 4 and some said 5 after ten were reported early 2000. Now we don't know female or male are survive in the wild and still depending on human to feed them. There were 13 of them, but now may be only 9 or 10 left and we don't know they are productive male female. For Milky Storks an urgent focus needed.
