PhD, thesis, procedures, system, implementation, quality, integrity, responsibility, and attitude

May be we need to check all procedures and systems to make sure all PhD graduates are up to our standard, thesis meet the quality and the researches are acceptable as PhD standard. Supervisors are important because the quality of the students, thesis and research are reflecting the quality of professors supervised the students. Supervisors must be given a high grade for producing PhD students and thesis because of their time, energy, money, ideas and commitment. BUT is it all supervisors are really supervised. The thesis examiners can tell. In order to get real picture about the quality of graduates and thesis, graduate schools should ask the regular internal examiners.
