since last october 2013 many openbills stork come to Peninsular Malaysia until Singapore. They are from northen area such as Thailand and India. Now in the northen of Peninsular Malaysia many of them in the paddy field and preying on pomacea snails that damaging rice seeding. can we use this birds as pest control? Close observation needed.
