Academic excellence depending on the academician. BUT why academician still complaining?


Simple answer!
1. we do not set the policies, procedures and assessments.
2. we have the opportunities for no. 1 but we give to others to dictate us.
3. evidence: in the university for example, deans and deputy dean do not attend important meeting that involve no. 1. therefore the decision made not according to the academician needs.
4. many meetings become instruction and follow orders, so deans and deputy dean just become the message delivery.
5. the victims are always lecturers. lecturers are competing to fulfill their own uncertain KPIs (always changing depending on whos ideas).

Therefore The Academician need to be Strong and Justified!
