Why Not many scientists involve in solving government issues? Eg. Government transformation programme.

Mainly economist, social sciences, historian, religious department and not many scientists were asked to participate.
May be in Malaysian still think that scientists mainly teaching in schools or universities. From now on Malaysian must change and think that scientists are researchers in their field. Government can ask their advice or opinion in the government transformation programme.
