Most of our students are trained to be at level one, knowledge and remembering. Exam oriented! We need all steps to be HOT (High order thinking) and FT (flexible thinking). We need immediate change. Lets Professors dominate the education not administrators or managers. Professors know their product quality and what is their target.

Seniour officers in Natural Resources and Environment (NRE) Ministry especially Perhilitan (Wildlife Department), Forestry and Environment need to change their mindset.

Come we change our atitude NOW, Thinking skills not cut and paste culture. Moe time for teachers needed to teach one students. Professorsin the universities need more time to think and adjust trend of developing young guneration. The cannot be robot BUT truely human thinkers trainer.

High Order Thinking (HOT) and Flexible Thinking (FT) Skills can bring young generation develop faster and smoothly towards their goal.These thinking skills are things like evaluating or justifying a point of view or decision and creating a new product or new viewpoint.

Education system, teaching style in class need to be adjusted to develop HOT and FT among the young generation. Mindset of educators need to be changed first. New paradigm shift is needed. This need to be done quick to support transformation policy of the government. No wonder we are still talking a lot on the first class facilities ad technology BUT we are still at the third class mentality.

We need to continue aggressively recycle activities at the same rate of people using it.

Whole civilised society must support and do it!

Teaching and learning at the university: Many times I mentioned in my blog that we are not at the university. We are still at the school mentality. AND we follow by the books. Now we are at high impact factors journal which highly dynamic konewledgement. Administrators and managers should change their mind set NOW!

University must aggressively change towards research. we need to change culture from classroom teaching to laboratory teaching. We exchange finding not just thought. Students competing to go the the best laboratory with high quality experts in specific field. Teaching and learning at the university actually between the students and the professors and the culture of that particular department or laboratory. Now think carefully who are your leaders and how they want to direct you? If you are the follower.

We cannot wait until such case happen again. This is why basic biology is needed and continuously important. But why we cannot think? This is very much related to food security, culture and lifestyle.
