Conflict of interest, conflict in reporting, conflict of actions. The most important is Taman Negara where we protect all nature and biodiversity. All parties must talk about the truth and think how to save Taman Negara. NO Politic in this issues. We need to use a little bit of our brain to gather information, think and assess and make a conclusion. Do not rely on one source.

Experts warn: Watch out for air pollution, harmful gases from firecrackers, pyroworks: This become a global issues and transbondary pollution. Not a local issues anymore. High income society, modern life style and pushing by business people, use of firecrackers are increasing in many ceremonials and festivals.

Firecrackers and other pyrotechnic materials contain sulfur, charcoal and other ingredients that when ignited, react with oxidants in the air to form carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide that are known greenhouse gases. There are no safe firecrackers. Even if we have laws that regulate the manufacture of firecrackers, most of the injuries that have recorded came from the legal firecrackers

Sometimes we need to believe after many evidents of truth. Or this may be just a guide or way to plan for the future luck? The logic arguement always there! No wonder feng shui is continue as a practical guidance to lead a more meaningful life. Gong Xi Fa Cai!!!

Feng shui (Listeni/ˌfɛŋ ˈʃi/; /fʌŋ ʃw/; pinyin: fēng shuǐ, pronounced [fɤ́ŋ ʂwèi] ( )) is a Chinese philosophical system of harmonizing the human existence with the surrounding environment. The term feng shui literally translates as "wind-water" in English. This is a cultural shorthand taken from the passage of the now-lost Classic of Burial recorded in Guo Pu's commentary: Feng Shui is one of the Five Arts of Chinese Metaphysics, classified as Physiognomy (observation of appearances through formulas and calculations). The Feng Shui practice discusses architecture in metaphoric terms of "invisible forces" that bind the Universe, Earth, and man together, known as qi/chi/energy.

We have many things to do in 24 hours. It is impossible to dream all days. In fact in 8 hours sleep we cannot dream for eight hours. We probably can work for 24hours if we are clear what we want to do and what benefit we can get for short term or long term. May be our society cannot read the important of science for the country and far more for develop country. We need to change the society's mind set and action direction. Find a good leaders and NOT korek parit type.

In Malaysia, if the goverment or the panels approved our proposal on algae research, i think it already go to International Space Station ISS. Unfortunately we have to struggle for last 5 years. Probably with the help of light energy, we can produce biomass, emit oxygen, and consume CO2. Microgravity, i.e. reduced gravity, will influence the orientation of the cells and aggravate mass transfer and heat exchange. This will contribute to green house effect and climate change or global warming. Malaysian panels need to be educated.... BUT by that time I retired.

After first experiments on earth, the scientists will test the microalga-based photobioreactor system during parabolic flights with the airbus ZERO-G. They will study the influence of microgravitation on photosynthetic activity, the respiration of the algae as well as on potential hydrogen production. After the algae will have survived the parabolic flights, tests on satellites or the International Space Station ISS will follow.

Nearly one month news about Orang Asli, Illegal Logging (because of no proper procedures), Kuala Koh National Park and Government Agencies involves and many series of discussion in the local news papers and electronic media, BUT no clear action by the authorities. Why in Malaysia we cannot act quickly after sensitive cases were mentioned in the news. We cares about the environment especially the sensitive areas such as National Park. We should respect National Park where we protect and conserve flora and fauna.

Welcome on board Air Zero G: Have you ever dreamt flying and forgetting the laws of gravity? Have you ever dreamt of free floating in the air like an astronaut? Come on board our A300 to enjoy an unforgettable weighless experience. May be Malaysian Scientists can participate in Zero G proect with Air Bus.

May be we can bring world's scientists to study our species, then the knowledge of biology, ecology, genetic and physiology of those animals can be improved rapdly, then we can see its clear conservation strategies. We need more research grants!!

People have panda, we want panda, people have our sun bear, we said we already have it many in our forest. We do not study their biology, ecology, physiology and genetic. may be we will wait to import our own sun bear from other countries later for our zoos. May be tapir too.

The panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca, lit. "black and white cat-foot"), also known as the giant panda to distinguish it from the unrelated red panda, is a bear native to south central China. It is easily recognized by the large, distinctive black patches around its eyes, over the ears, and across its round body. Though it belongs to the order Carnivora, the panda's diet is over 99% bamboo. Pandas in the wild will occasionally eat other grasses, wild tubers, or even meat in the form of birds, rodents or carrion. In captivity, they may receive honey, eggs, fish, yams, shrub leaves, oranges, or bananas along with specially prepared food.
The giant panda lives in a few mountain ranges in central China, mainly in Sichuan province, but also in the Shaanxi and Gansu provinces. As a result of farming, deforestation and other development, the panda has been driven out of the lowland areas where it once lived.

Doing well: Kai Kai, who just turned six, enjoying his bamboo birthday cake during a panda party at the River Safari last month. The male giant panda has settled down nicely to life in Singapore.

Haze will be a global issues and transboundary pollution. Scientists only can advice BUT politician can solve it. How much education given to the public IF the government policies are not enforce. Scientists olly can talk. May be scientists can design something or tools to control haze and business people can make money then it may work.

According to the Department of Environment’s Air Pollutant Index (API), unhealthy, very unhealthy and hazardous air quality readings are from 100 to 200, 200 to 300, and more than 300 respectively.
The reduced visibility could be due to the 500 hotspots detected by the NOAA-18 Satellite on the Meteorological Service Singapore’s website, for the areas of Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand and Laos.
The hotspot map for that region showed most of the hotspots were concentrated in Cambodia and spread out into Thailand and Laos.

Malaysian need long and winding ways to live together in harmony. May be one day people will reject all politician and religious teachers because they cannot make people living together in harmony and peace. Knowledge on culture and religion are important tools in order to make people living in harmony and respect each others. Perhaps the scientists can lead the society instead of politician and religious teachers. Sometime not everybody can exercise their right in public or openly. Some right we do privitely and some right we do openly together. Brain cannot be between our legs but must be in our skull on the top. That is brains right.

Much ado about swine

Democracy is not practice of majority rights taking precedence over minority rights. In a democracy and even more so in a nation with a constitution, minority rights are guaranteed and must be upheld. Not to be trampled on at the pleasure of the majority

Learning from the Prophet 13 January 2014
IN the year 628 AD, the Quraisy of Mecca and the state of Medina entered into the pivotal Treaty of Hudaybiyyah. The relationship between the two was hostile, to say the least, and the treaty was to establish peace between them.

Everybody must do right thing if we want to conserve nature, culture and protect National Parks. If orang Asli is part of nature and National Parks, then scientists must involve. NGO like Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) must take part.
