Two years ago meeting Pejabat Daerah Sepang about Sepang River, pollution and improving it as another tourism spots in Selangor since it is near to Kuala Lumpur International Airport. BUT when come to environmental issues not very interesting because we cannot make money if we conserve environment and biodiversity. See Jimah Power Plant and tourism activities disturbing the coastal current and the effect on the river mouth. Who are responsible? Same to pig farming in Selangot and its effect on Sepang River and coastal areas. Public smell it but they close their mouth. They should open their mouth and close their nose? all are in dilemma.

At first I do not agree using electric bicycle. BUT after understand the mechanism of mechanical to electrical then I think ladies in the universities can use this bicycle. May there will be we to understand more about electric bicycle for better maintenance. The most important is creating clean campus free from GHG.

To day my first day reemployed by UPM attending lecturer by Dato seri Zaini Ujang General Secretary Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water on Sustainable Development Goal. We need to understand better about our energy and water, change our habit and lifestyle and audit our energy and water uses.

Today we are celebrating Labour Day. Whole country on holiday. Some will go for holiday, some stay at home, and some community leaders will gather listening to the leaders talk and promise ans celebrating Labour Day. One thing in Malaysia we have to work harder for better life especially with the current world economic and local political situation. One thing for government servants we need to achieve the KPI (Key Performance Index). We hope KPI is fair and all government servant at all levels working hard as they are suppose to do and well quantify their contribution. We don't want some are curi tulang and all must work with full integrity.
In Malaysia, the Labour Day celebration began when former Deputy Prime Minister, the late Tun Dr. Ismail Abdul Rahman announced 1 May as a public holiday for workers in early 1970s. The announcement was made while opening the Labour Bureau Trade Union Seminar and the UMNO Trade Union at Dewan Belia in Kuala Lumpur on 20 May 1972.
This announcement was regarded as important because it not only recognizes the contribution of workers, but indirectly shows that Malaysia is in agreement with the decisions of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Convention, which approved 1 May as Labour Day.
More than four decades later, Labour Day is still celebrated in our country. The role of workers is certainly becoming more important amidst our nation’s drive towards a developed status by the year 2020 as workers’ commitment and dedication can determine the survival and sustainability of business organizations and companies in the long run.
Malaysia is not the only country to set aside a day to celebrate workers on May 1. Labour Day is also celebrated in some 80 countries around the globe which includes Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Costa Rica, China, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Italy, Myanmar, North Korea, Norway, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, South Africa, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine and Vietnam, among others.http://www.malaysiandigest.com/features/551935-why-do-we-celebrate-labour-day-some-little-known-facts-of-this-important-day.html
