Many times I talk some where and writing in the news paper about the responsibity of the community on the local environment, conservation and biodiversity. If the local involve in recreation, education, research etc then the environment will be protected. BUT I hope these will be continue not LIKE normal say hangat-hangat taik ayam.

More need to be done for wildlife conservation. We need strong public support. Public do not know what is tapir, the biggest tapitr in the world that exist in our own country and they are facing extinction if we do not protect them. Thank you for Mid Valley Management for supporting this activity.

Still unfinished in implementing ideas after Belgrade. A lot more to be explore in fundamental science especially in ecology.

Unpredicted season now. To day is raining, Yesterday Kuala gandah was flooded and Elephants were move to safer places. We need to manage the flood and shortage of water. Where in tyhis world we need to learn. I think Malaysian Professors can help. Don't waste money travelling first class abroad to look for ideas. Manage our own country.

Another contribution to Tapir Conservation in Malaysia. Please give your donation to Tapir Research Fund. Tell every Malaysian that you meet about our tapir. Our tapir is the biggest among tapirs in the world and it is going to be extinct soon if we do not protect their habitat and stop illegal hunting and road killing.
