The Malay Dilemma is a book written by Mahathir bin Mohamad in 1970, 11 years before he became Malaysia's 4th Prime Minister. I think every malays must read this book. Agree or Disagree is not important. The most important thing is analyse the content and depart the thinking and actions after analyse the book. May be the book will guide the directions of life towards better malays.

May be we need to have a regular forum on science as we used to have at Petrosains KLCC. Universities also can do it. Call panels from academia, private sectors, industries and probably entrepreneurs to discuss and school children to motivate them into science. Why we need more scientists in developed country.

Muslim scientists should lead in studying science of fasting in Ramadhan not just socio-economic aspects. Science aspects of Ramadhan cannot finish until we find something interesting for human kind.

Since our ecology and habitat are very dynamic, continuous research on viruses and wildlife are needed. We cannot wait until the outbreak of the diseases.

All must take part on reducing plastic pollution. Government must create strong laws and regulation to reduce plastic pollution, all factories or plastic materials generator musts support in controlling the plastic, public must discipline enough to beat plastic pollution and the NGOs must help educating all those involves in the production of plastics and using plastic.

Academic Staff Association must continuously strong to take care of academic staff welfare. Not just playing bowling but all aspects for academic excellence, recognition, promotion and good payment.

World Environmental Day is an international event. Malaysia also supporting the celebration. This yeas focusing on plastic pollution. Whole year people talking on plastic. Everybody must help to reduce plastic pollution especially in the marine environment. Plastics ca cause danger to marine wildlife.
