Another conflict. Government central and state just talking about conservation of habitat UNESCO world heritage sites, but permanent reserve forest next to proposed heritage sites will be degazete for development. Public need to be educated to understand better on nature, permanent forest reserve and its function so that the can educate politician, government officers and greedy business man.

South East Asia Marginal Sea is very important and very dynamic. research on marginal sea will never finish and need more young scientists working on it.

We need more volunteers and funders to support mangrove seedling planting. Mangrove is very important for mating life, coastal ecology and protection from coastal erosion.

To learn biology we cannot just stay in the classsroom. Frogging is one on the activities. We need to go out the classroom and understand better about life. Actually students enjoy outdoor learning. Teachers need more skills and knowledge to handle out door classes. Effective learning should involve literature analysis through writing essay, writing report of experiment and field work or out door classes and independent research. all this make learning interesting and easy to understand about the subject.

I cannot work a lone. As President of Malaysian Nature Society I only can push the members to take actions. We need money to mobilise members to support Jerai Geopark.

government agreed in the budget 2019 to recognise FRIM Forest Park as a new UNESCO site. Forest surrounding this forest also must be preserve as a buffer zone to protect the forest. Beside the forests threaten by poachers and environmental changes, Climate Change may occur at the micro levels.More studies needed and the whole area must be preserve in order to support new UNESCO site.
