First youth environment club organise by Multimedia College and sponsored by TM fascilitated by Malaysian Nature Society. I thought UPM will start first because the idea came from UPM. May be next will be UIA. UPM students must be quick if they want to be infront!!!

in order to make young generations appreciate nature, love nature, protect nature we cannot organise a ceremonial events. we must talk to them closely and regularly. then we develop volunteers to help 

 

This year 2012 i already talked to more than 100 secondary students in Malaysia, more than 100 teachers from more than 100 schools. Including TM regional managers and staff.

Many just adopt as a culture eating at kedai mamak, roti canai, tosey etc. But for Muslim may be they need to be careful Halal or not. In general who cares because Malays do not control food manufacturing, trading and even cooking.

celebrating raya or any functions can develop interaction between human, eg between staff or students and teachers especially lately no body care about others, just taking care their own jobs, space, salary and family. Team work is important for corporate success.

Curriculum is very important, must be designed carefully meeting the learning outcomes (LO) of the programme and all the subjects taught. All staff must participate in the discussion contributing ideas and coordinating all LOs of the subjects to meet LOs programme.

We have to make sure students are learning what we are teaching and their knowledge and skills are marketable. The graduates are employable. We need to equipt them with knowledge and skills, networking them and lets employers demand for our graduates.

Ecotoxicology is another interesting subject that must be taught to many students in the university so that they know about hazardous chemicals in the environment and their toxicological effect to human and environmental health.

Faculty of Science UPM shaping future scientists: Kolej Matrikulasi Pahang and Maktab Rendah Sains Mara Tun Ghafar Baba Melaka visited UPM to know more about future research in fundamental science.

very surprise one of the students from MRSMTGB surf internet before came to UPM and proposed one idea that Department of Biology can help. This form four brilliant student can be groomed right way to be good biologist. May be she will be surprise when she saw this project in Malaysia.

They must visit UPM many times, not just once like visiting planetarium or National Science Centre. To be a scientist the students must see, talk, try and thinking what next. meaning the students must interact with UPM in the future.
