KSNP celebrating World Wetland day since 2006. The celebrations mainly to educate public and school children to know about wetland and its importance. This year MNS will celebrate on the 5th of February involving more than 500 school children and local community.

We need to convince important person in the government so taht they can loby at the stste government levels on the important of Kuala Selangor Nature Park to be promoted as Ramsar Site. Kuala Selangor Nature Park, KSNP have been managed by MNS since 1987.

In conjunction with World Wetland day celebrated on 2 February every year, Wetland such as Kuala Selangor Nature Park need to be given special attention. The area need to be promoted as Ramsar Site in Selangor.

May be we already identify the main factors that encourage wildlife smuggling through Malaysia. What are the common reasons? supply and demand, weak procedures and enforcement, technology and strategies, corruption, easy access, and many more probably very difficult to solve. Government policies and stand to fight against wildlife poaching, trade and smuggling are good enough to stop all past stories on wildlife trade and smuggling through Malaysia. Public must be continuously educated.

How to make effective contribution in nature conservation; Ramsar Site, Firelies, promoting ecotourism, Environmental issues on blood cockles, coastal fisheries, migratory shorebirds etc.

Wetlands is very important for water but need to manage well. Ulu Muda need to be gazetted as State Park.

What is "Pemantapan Akademik?" my plan was how to produce quality graduates based on curriculum prepared. all lecturers in the department must know the directions of bachelor of science will be awarded to the students. look back to objectives of the programme.
