Biodiversity in Malaysia: Very strong commitment by the government. How to develop good strategies to make it happend? Law and regulations, enforcement and monitoring, public education, huge campaign strategies and make the world know that we are concern and care about biodiversity. DONT forget research for information and conservation! Universites (UPM) and Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) must involve.

THE National Biodiversity Council, agreed to launch a massive project to restore  coral reefs in eight states, Kedah, Perak, Malacca, Pahang, Johor, Kelantan, Sabah and Sarawak. This project aims to preserve marine diversity and it will be implemented via smart partnerships between the respective state governments and Marine Parks Department, universities, non-governmental organisations and corporate sector.
