Beside protests, debate and scientific expedition to protect seagrass bed in Merambong Straits of Johor, the proposed projects continues and growing very rapid faster than Malaysian are thinking. Now Merambong shoal is gone and will be a forest city. May be this project more politic, security, sovereignty and business rather than the environmental issues. It is beyond normal people thinking.

Arrabe' and I were among the sample collectors for the EIA study of the project, back in the end of 2014 under Dr. NiK and Assc. consultant company. It was actually the 2nd EIA conducted ordered by Putrajaya after receiving complaint from The Republic of Singapore. I've gone through the 1st EIA report of the project and could smell something overly fishy. I wondered how such project was given a way. Unfortunately, I left the the job soon after finished the fieldwork, and now, what's going on there is unbeknownst to me.
