Rapid development in southern Johor and Singapore and increasing activities in the narrowest part of the Strait of Malacca, give pressure to Ramsar Site in the Southern tip of mainland Asia. World must look in to this to protect and conserve this historic and unique ecosystem which have high value in nature. We cannot be primitive enough by simply think of mangrove swamps are unproductive ecosyatems and should be change ti business infrasturectures. The authorities must think again and educating public and the locals on the conservation of the ramsar Sites in Johor the southern tip of mainland Asia. NGOs must support and help the authorities to protect the area.
