We must learn and strategies how a top reserach university can develop high quality and cutting edge teacher education programs that play a large role in influencing teacher education across the nation. We can do it but we do not have a proper planning.

Transformation of Higher Education: Harvard is number ONE university in the world and its established long time ago since 1910. Its 114 years experience being at the top, for sure we can learn. BUT why we are still crawling giving philosophical ideas and cannot be implemented at our university. Harvard too have plan. they review every 10-30 years depending on field and interest. Why we cannot plan. all about leadership.

Harvard Extension School was established 113 years ago in 1910.
What we need are employable and marketable graduates. What we should do?
1. look at what public want? may be values, interests, personality, and skills.
2. we provide those needed in our curriculum and programmes. look attractive, interesting and fulfill needs with quality, confidence and recognition. recruiting or educating academic staff to high levels of education, knowledge and skills.
3. attract good students, results, interviews and entry test. open to adults from all sectors to increase the market.
4. Since cost is another concern, special funding scheme needed to avoid rising of tuition fees, increasing student debt, and cost of living on campus.

How strong research on virus and monitoring of viruses that causes diseases not just in Malaysia but all over the world. unlimited people movement in the world demand for aggressive studies on transmitted disease.

The Ebola virus that's causing the current outbreak is a known quantity. And there's no expectation that it will change significantly. Ebola was first discovered in 1976 and has stayed pretty much the same ever since.
Some other kinds of microbes can change drastically from year to year, including certain flu viruses and SARS-related viruses. In these cases, public health experts are always watching to see what new strain has popped up that could have new tricks. This isn't really the case with Ebola.
"The Ebola virus today is acting the same way Ebola viruses have always acted," Michael Osterholm told me. He's a biosecurity expert and director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota. This means that the severity of the current Ebola outbreak is not because the virus itself has gotten any worse, but because the situation that the virus is in is so bad.

We need more young scientists to participate in Imbak Canyon, the important forest in Borneo. Experience in Danum Valley, more foreign scientists are taking advantages on biodiversity in Sabah Forest. We need more fund for this.
