Meeting New Education Minister to get his views on the new directions of the ministry especially on the higher education. We need to be more focus to our duties in teaching, research and extension. All professors must have their own niche and helping universities in producing functional graduates, able to adapt and performing at global stage.

Sorry I have no opportunity to be in the picture with the new minister. Everybody want to show witness that they were with the minister. I am very lucky I do not have to do that. Even if I was not there  people say I was there. because what minister said mainly same to my ideas that I was talking to many people. 

Bringing people together is not an easy thing. We have to reward them then they come. BUT to have good organisation and strong in mission, we need more volunteers and respect and enjoy in working. Do not stress people because later may be many are sick. SELAMAT HARI RAYA!!!

We can be number ONE if many supporting us. See Coca-cola number ONE in the world. If only big event like worldcup supporting Coca-cola enough for them to be no 1. Why not we identify our people groom and support to be number ONE?

After we promoted recycling program and managing plastic bottles at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2012 on the Earth Day. Many people are discussing on the same issue. Now in 2018 the whole world are talking about ending plastic waste. It is almost impossible because plastic need every where and very useful in life. May be not for the future generations. We should recognise the effort and promoting our people who championing in this and promoting the ideas. If world companies recognise why mot us.

Meeting YB Pantai to discuss on the protection and conservation of Bukit Persekutuan Forest in Kuala Lumpur. The area can be good green lungs for Kuala Lumpur, near to KL Sentral and good for education and forest for community. This was discussed in many forum, media including World Urban Forum (WUF9) in Kuala Lumpur last February.

Seminar Ekologi Malaysia 2018 on the 8 November 2018 will be the fourth in its series. I hope this time more participants from universities and research institution will participate. we need to promote more young scientists involve in ecological studies.

It was started in 2010. For education purposes and promoting awareness among school children, the programme should be continue forever. We cannot depending to the decision of the current leaders. Education must go on with may be the same content but biodiversity in approaches and techniques. Environmental issues are dynamic depending on nature, disasters, poor planning in development, poo knowledge in nature and biodiversity, public awareness, respect, policies, governance, corruption, etc. Therefore continuous education is very important. IWe can identify all GLCs that related to nature and conservation, technology and exploration to support this kind of activities. NGOs and Experts are ready to contribute and support.
