I am retired now. Research on milky stork and bio-logging in Malaysia is very new. Despite few papers have been published and few articles were on the prime news papers in Malaysia, I cannot see anybody pickup this study seriously. When we are talking about biodiversity, ecology and conservation this kind of study must be continued. BUT may be we do not have enough scientists interested to work in this field and less concern by the authority to encourage this kind of research such as providing grants and facilities. Since Malaysia is top mega biodiversity in the world, we must encourage more people work on biodiversity especially among the young scientists.
