Apart from being extremely important for its vital role in provisioning water and other ecosystem services, the Greater Ulu Muda forest harbours important wildlife and biodiversity. Allowing activities such as logging or other extractive activities can have a detrimental effect on the water resources from the Greater Ulu Muda forests and the ecotourism potential.
