Continous Campaign For Hornbills Conservation In Selangor

In order to protect wildlife and their habitat and support conservation, public is very Important.
Today we have the third programme with public on awareness and support to conserve horn bills. We have five specie of horn bills in Sungai Karang Forest Reserve and they are home range including oil palm plantation and villages. In the village the birds disturb fruits tree and make them unacceptable to the public.
Through this activities since last five years, now the public support and the number of birds are increasing. Government Departments such as Deparment of Agriculture, Department of Tourism, Department of Forestry, Department of Education and Deparment of Wildlife and National Parks should be intvolved.
