Rainwater harvesting in school can save water bills, dicipline the students, save water, create new technology and innovation among students.

SMK St Michael Panampang won the competition Water Vision for 4 years from 2009. They constructed rainwater harvesting systems in school and use water for toilet, gardening and washing. the project supervised by Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) and Sponsored by Coca cola. Prof Ahmad Ismail from UPM is the advisor for the MNS Environmental Education Programme and Shan as Head of Department EE Division MNS.
