The Astronomical New Moon is on August 6, 2013 (Tuesday) at 21:51 UT. This moon is not visible anywhere on August 6. On August 7, it may be visible by naked eye in South America and Polynesian Islands. On August 7, with optical aids, it is possible to see in South Africa, and in Guyana South America. On August 7, with telescope, it is even possible to see in San Diego area. On August 8, it is visible everywhere except Northern Asia and Europe.
