Recycle to Cycle and creating culture on campus. We need to make more publicity and need more support. We need more people to understand about the activities, transfering knowledge or transformation to others and later make all in the community know about the programme. Not that easy to change the mind set, we have to work hard and persistence with patient.

- Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) partnered with Coca-Cola Malaysia in Recycle to Cycle project to encourage students to recycle tear items and reduce carbon emissions by bicycle. UPM Vice Chancellor, Prof. Datuk Dr. Mohd Fauzi Ramlan said at present, only the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering practices walking and cycling to school. "We are targeting 3,500 students will walk and bike ride around campus by September," he said.
UPM has received a grant of 750 thousand from The Coca-Cola Foundation to carry out the project Recycle to Cycle for 2 years covering bikes and equipment, and material recycling center project.
Regional General Manager Malaysia-Singapore-Brunei, The Coca-Cola Company, Gill McLaren said it was the first project of its kind in Malaysia and in line with the focus of Coca-Cola to build sustainable communities through conservation and environmental care. Recycle to Cycle Project was initiated by the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Professor. Ahmad Ismail who is the project manager with the students from the faculty to make the campus as cycling zone, and fostering a more active lifestyle. Students can participate in the project by recycling bottles and aluminum cans to earn points that can then be used to rent a bike. Bottles and cans will be sold to the recycling center before the proceeds reinvested in the program to enable it to run continuously.- UPM / SSS / KGO / DELL
