We need to train more educated ladies to be at the leading position in the government and corporate sectors, not just because of many ladies in those sectors now and to gain a political power but because of truely leaders and capable in leading the departments or agencies. Look at the past tract of ladies leadership and make correctiions and enhancement where necessary. we cannot effort to waste three or five years appointment term and they cannot perform. Make a survey if necessary.

Govt committed to empowering women

The government is committed to continue empowering women in the country towards ensuring their full potential can be realised and enhanced, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.In Putrajaya, Najib said Malaysia would not have achieved its goals had women not been part of the mainstream development and transformation

The Star: Thousands of Malaysian women took to the streets Sunday for the 1Million Women Purple Walk in conjunction with International Women's Day.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak launched the event at Putrajaya while mentris besar and chief ministers did the same at state-level.
The walk is said to be the first of its kind to be held in Malaysia. Purple is the theme colour for International Women's Day.
The main purpose of the walk is to show solidarity towards the Government's commitment in empowering women in Malaysia and to celebrate the successes of Malaysian women in various sectors.
