How far faster economic growth is correlated with biodiversity lost and habitat destruption. As top megabiodiversity country in the world, Malaysia must give opporturnity and concern on biodiversity research and education. The authority must make the professors and research grants evaluators aware of country's vision. Many of them are so excited with biotechnology, comercialisation and products and they forgot about basic biodiversity.

Malaysia expected to move up to 20th spot in Globalisation Index

As one of Asia's fastest growing economies, Malaysia performed marginally higher than the global average while maintaining its position at 26th.
