We need immediate research on tapir in Peninsular Malaysia and aggressive education programme. Authority such as Perhilitan still primitive in both research and education. They need to be more aggressive and their officers need to be monitored by higher authorities, public and NGOs such as MNS, WWF, traffic,...etc. Authorities need to provide grants/funds to identified researchers
