Leading Marine Scientists in Malaysia

For last 10 years the group aggressively meeting, making strategies for marine science research and collaborate with other neighbouring countries and Japanese Scientists. Hundreds of scientific publications were produced from this group. Not an easy task to gather scientists and develop together as a group solving current issues and future look of marine sciences. Malaysia as a maritime country, coastal marine sciences is very important to focus on. With current available experts in many fields of coastal marine sciences from biodiversity to pollution and from harmful algal bloom to genetic resources and changes, young scientists should pickup before the seniours are retired. The government and their agencies should look seriously on this group so that their expertise are not wasted and transferred accurately to the young generation for better marine ecosystem in the future.
