May be some universities have forgotten about world class university when they are busy with high impact factor journal, commercialisation of products, patenting findings and winning competitions.
In the process of globalisation, internationalisation and lifting towards the world class university, local universities need to be very careful in appointing leaders from the bottom coordinators, head departments, deans, directors. etc. Not just cash and carry. May be need to be selected seed, germinate, grow, pruning and harvest.
