conservation

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopaedia
Conservation biology is the scientific study of the nature and status of Earth's biodiversity with the aim of protecting species, their habitats, and ecosystems from excessive rates of extinction. It is an interdisciplinary subject drawing on sciences, economics, and the practice of natural resource management. What we need in conservation are understanding, knowledge, awareness, support, volunteers, commitments and strong policy and enforcement. Public involvement, expert contribution and a special grants can make conservation more effective. Training and research on wildlife conservation need to be more aggresive. More young staff needed but the trend now not encourage the young students to major in wildlife. Probably we meed to provide more grants.
